On 1 April 2025, SEAB marked a significant milestone—its 21st anniversary. To commemorate this special occasion, the 2025 SEAB Day celebration was held on 28 March 2025, bringing together staff and guests for a memorable day of reflection, recognition, and remembrance.

This year’s celebration carried the theme “@21: Charting New Chapters,” a tribute to SEAB’s remarkable journey and an exciting look ahead to its future. As SEAB turns 21, it is not just about marking the passage of time but also acknowledging the growth and transformation that has shaped SEAB into what it is today. From our beginnings in 2004, when we were entrusted with the task of developing and conducting national examinations in Singapore, SEAB has evolved into a key player in the nation’s educational landscape. The celebration was made even more special with heartfelt speeches by Chief Executive of SEAB, Mr Yue Lip Sin, and SEAB Board Chairman, Mr Wong Siew Hoong, who both reflected on SEAB’s journey, their appreciation to stakeholders and staff who contributed to the various transformations and outcomes, and shared their aspirations for its future.

Over the years, SEAB has not only faced challenges but have also embraced opportunities to innovate and enhance our services. As highlighted in the speeches by Mr Yue and Mr Wong, SEAB’s evolution is a testament to the dedication of its people and the trust placed in us by our stakeholders. Our ongoing commitment to excellence in assessments and education services has been the driving force behind SEAB’s evolution, and our journey is far from over.
Dressed in vibrant colours, staff arrived in bold and dynamic attire that filled the room with energy and excitement. This colourful display reflected SEAB's innovative and forward-thinking culture, celebrating the milestone in style.

The event was filled with fun yet meaningful activities that highlighted the contributions and achievements of SEAB staff. One of the key highlights of the celebration was the presentation of Long Service Awards, Service Excellence Awards, and Promotions, recognising the dedication and hard work of SEAB staff. These awards serve as a reminder of the incredible effort that goes into delivering trusted educational assessments and services.

The lively atmosphere was further elevated by an engaging photo montage of SEAB staff at 21 years old, as well as song and dance performances, which added a touch of entertainment and joy to the occasion. Fun games and activities brought everyone together, fostering camaraderie and team spirit.

As SEAB celebrates 21 years of service to the nation, we reflect on our past with pride and look forward to the future with anticipation. The journey ahead is one of continued growth and transformation, as we continue to chart new chapters in our mission to enhance the assessment landscape in Singapore.
