Results of the 2023 GCE O- and A-Level Mid-Year Mother Tongue Language (MTL) examinations

The results of the 2023 Singapore-Cambridge GCE O- and A-Level Mid-Year Mother Tongue Language (MTL) examinations will be released on 17 August 2023 (Thursday) at 2.00pm.

 

For private candidates, you may view your results via SEAB’s Candidates Portal at 2.00pm on 17 August 2023 (Thursday) to 11.00pm on 31 August 2023 (Thursday). No hardcopy result slips will be issued. You can login to the portal with your Singpass or the account that you created during the registration period. For technical issues such as login issues, please refer to our FAQs or use this form to share your technical issue.

Appeal for Review of Results

If you wish to submit an appeal for review of the Mid-Year results, please refer to the information below. The outcome of your appeal will be sent to the email address that you have provided to SEAB by 20 September 2023.

The appeal fees for each subject is as below:

Registration for 2023 GCE O- and A-Level Year-End Mother Tongue Language Written Papers

If you intend to resit the GCE O- and A-Level MTL written examinations at year-end, please refer to the Registration Information for the Year-End MTL papers below.  You may wish to note that the better of your Mid-Year and Year-End MTL examination grades will be reflected on your examination certificate, which would be issued during the 2023 GCE O- or A-Level results release exercises in January and February 2024 respectively.

 

You can register for the 2023 GCE O- and A-Level Year-End MTL written papers via the Candidates Portal from 18 August 2023 to 29 August 2023, 11.00pm.

Do note that if you were absent from the GCE O- and A-Level MTL Oral and/or Listening Comprehension examination(s), you will not be allowed to register for the Year-End MTL written papers as there is no resit of these components in the same examination year.
