RESEARCH OFFICER (DATA SCIENCE), ASSESSMENT RESEARCH - 2 YEAR CONTRACT
Job Responsibilities
Successful applicant will play an active role in handling, analysing and mining data to provide meaning analysis and visualisation for decision making. The key responsibilities include:
-
Analyse large amount of data for trends and patterns, and build predictive models and machine learning algorithms
-
Apply sound methodologies in data science, statistical analysis and data mining
-
Perform data visualisation to derive insights and value-add to decision making
-
Develop automated marking models for different subjects with constructed responses ranging from answers that are one sentence in length to complex answers requiring an essay or analysis
Job Requirements
-
Tertiary Qualification in Data Science, or Computer Science, or Statistics, with a minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in manipulating data sets, building statistical models and hands-on experience in machine learning applications
-
Candidates with 0 to 1 year of working experience can be considered
-
Strong in programming experience and proficient in Python/R/C++
-
Possess knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques, such as clustering, recommender systems, Natural Language Processing, Deep learning etc., and their real-world application

Possess knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts, such as regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.
SENIOR EXECUTIVE / ASSISTANT MANAGER, OFFICE AND ESTATE MANAGEMENT – 2 YEAR CONTRACT
Job Responsibilities
Successful applicant will play an active role in managing soft services through the Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) framework, whilst overseeing office administration and coordinating all facility-related events and activities. The key responsibilities include:

Oversee the day-to-day office administration including mail scanning and distribution, courier service management, newspapers distribution, pantry and stationery supplies, staff workstation, and softphone and landline allocations
-
Oversee the day-to-day IFM soft services and relevant process/procedures with service providers to ensure service delivery and contractual obligations are met. This includes conducting monthly joint inspection, vendor performance monitoring, and service quality assessments
-
Manage facility booking and event setup to support the exam operations within short turnaround time and assist in the review of existing processes to improve its effectiveness
-
Process registry records and new file series in the system, including conducting UAT to ensure reliability and functionality
-
Ensure that sufficient pantry and stationery supplies are maintained for daily operations
-
Manage contract lifecycle including drafting and renewal processes
Job Requirements

Tertiary Qualification in Facilities Management/Engineering or Business Administration, with at least 2 years of related working experience

Candidates with no working experience can be considered

Experience in event management
-
Experience in the management of IFM soft services and office administration would be an advantage

Possess strong critical thinking, communication, writing, and presentation skills
ASSISTANT MANAGER / MANAGER, CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS AND PARTNERSHIP – 2 YEAR CONTRACT
Job Responsibilities
Successful applicant will play an active role in maintaining SEAB’s image as a trusted authority in examinations and assessment, and as an organisation that is customer-focused, in translating service strategy into actionable plans to enhance stakeholder experience and satisfaction. The key responsibilities include:

Handle public queries from SEAB’s touchpoints (e.g. call, email, walk-ins), in a prompt and professional manner while ensuring that the service standards assigned to cases are met
-
Participate and collaborate with various stakeholders in the resolution of customer issues, and collation of related data for management reporting
-
Prepare regular operation reports, conduct analysis of customer feedback, identify customer needs and implement data-driven strategies to reduce enquiry volume and enhance service delivery across various service touchpoints
-
Establish and/or refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines for smooth workflow and service excellence at various service touchpoints
-
Use service tools and technologies to enable end-to-end service delivery, improve service experience and enhance productivity
-
Involve in the digitalisation efforts of the centre and in service-related projects, and any other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in a customer service environment, preferably in the public sector
-
Proficiency in at least one other Mother Tongue Language to manage diversified groups of visitors and customers is advantageous
-
Familiar with the Customer Relation Management Systems such as Call Management Systems, Case Management Systems, and with the use of Microsoft Office applications e.g., Microsoft Excel.

Experience in Robotic Process Automation is advantageous

Possess strong communication, stakeholder engagement, customer service and project management skills

Proficient in data analytics to generate insights to drive operational improvements
-
Ability to take on challenges with thoughtfulness, drive and appropriate urgency
