Release of the 2017 Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level Examinations Results For Private Candidates

Results for the 2017 Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level examinations have been released on 23 February 2018 at 2.30p.m.

SingPass Holders

If you are eligible for SingPass, you will be able to view your examination results online by accessing SEAB’s internet Results Release System (iERRS) with your SingPass.

To better protect your personal data, SingPass 2-Step Verification or 2FA is only required for selected government digital transactions that involve sensitive data. This means that in addition to your SingPass ID and password, you will need to enter a One-Time Password (OTP) received via SMS or generated through a OneKey token.

The iERRS is one of the e-government services that requires a 2FA login process. With the enhanced SingPass to access the iERRS, private candidates will be ensured of a better protection of personal information.

You are advised to visit the SingPass website at to register, activate and link your mobile phone/token with your SingPass account. It would take about 7 - 10 working days for the SingPass 2FA to be activated. You would not be able to view your results online if you have not activated your SingPass or setup the 2FA.

Non-SingPass Holders 
Private candidates who are not eligible for SingPass will receive the examination results via post. Your result slip will be mailed to you on the day of the results release to the postal address that you registered with SEAB during the registration phase.

You may appeal for a review of your results. The appeal must be submitted by Friday, 2 March before 5.30 pm. Appeals submitted after this deadline will not be accepted. 

The appeal is for the review of the marking of the papers and a full clerical re-check of the marked scripts. No report on the candidate’s performance in the examination will be provided.

SingPass Holders 

You can appeal for a review of your results through the iERRS from 23 February 2018 (2.30 pm) to 2 March 2018 (5.30 pm). To appeal for a review of results, please click here.

Non-SingPass Holders 
You are required to complete the Appeal Application Form and bring it along together with your identification document, e.g. NRIC or Passport, to MOE Customer Service Centre to submit your appeal. 

Appeal Fees and Payment Procedures 
The appeal fee (inclusive of GST) for each subject is:

H1-Level/ AO-Level $ 112.35
H2-Level/ A-Level $ 181.90

After you have applied for the appeal of results, you have to make your payment at MOE Customer Service Centre by Saturday, 3 March 2018 before 12.30 pm.

The mode of payment is either cash or NETS. You are required to bring along your identification document, e.g. NRIC or Passport, for verification.

Outcome of Appeal 
You will receive the outcome of your appeal via post to the address which you have registered with SEAB. You will receive the outcome letter by Friday, 6 April 2018.
