Mid-Year Results Release Exercises for GCE O- and A-Level Mother Tongue Language examinations For School Candidates
Release of Results
The date of the Mid-Year results release exercise for the GCE O- and A-Level Mid-Year Mother Tongue Language examinations will be announced by your schools closer to the date of the exercise each year. Prior to the announcement, you can refer to the tentative dates of the exercise on SEAB's website.
You are to return to your school on the day of the results release to receive your results.
If you are unavailable on the day of the results release, please appoint a proxy and inform your school in advance of the arrangement.
Appeal for Review of Results
You will be able to submit your appeal for a review of your Mid-Year Mother Tongue Language (MTL) examination results through your schools and make the payment through Candidates Portal. More details regarding the appeal process and fees will be provided on the day of each year's Mid-Year MTL results release.
Appeal Outcome
You will receive the appeal outcome letter through your school by the specified deadline. No report on your performance in your examination will be provided.

Registration for GCE O- and A-Level Year-End Mother Tongue Language Written Papers
If you wish to resit your Mother Tongue Language (MTL) examination at the end of this year, the registration details and deadline will be provided to you via your school on the results release date.
It is important to note that the better of your Mid-Year and Year-End MTL examination grades will be reflected on your examination certificate, which will be issued during your GCE O- or A-Level results release exercises in January or February respectively of the year following your examination(s).

Release of Results
The date of the Mid-Year results release exercise for the GCE O- and A-Level Mid-Year Mother Tongue Language examinations will be announced closer to the date of the exercise each year. Prior to the announcement, you can refer to the tentative dates of the exercise on SEAB's website.
On the date of the exercise, you may view your results via SEAB's Candidates Portal during the specified period and for about 2 weeks.
You may access the portal using the credentials that you used to create your account during your examination registration. If you have forgotten your login credentials, you may refer to this set of FAQs.
No hardcopy result slips will be issued to you.
Appeal for Review of Results
You will be able to submit your appeal for a review of your Mid-Year Mother Tongue Language (MTL) examination results and make the payment via Candidates Portal. More details regarding the appeal process and fees will be provided on the day of each year's Mid-Year MTL results release.
