KEY ACTIVITIES AND MILESTONES     Create account on the Candidates Portal User Guide on Account Creation This can be done before the SPERS-Secondary application opens Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents must use NRIC or Birth Certificate Number to create an account. Apply for SPERS-Secondary How to apply Note: Application will close when all places for the test are filled.  Login to Candidates Portal  Note: Status of approved applications will update from “Pending” to “Registered” at least 4 weeks from day of application. Candidates who have successfully registered may also retrieve useful information from ‘Getting Ready for Exams’ found on Candidates Portal. Receive an email to retrieve entry proof from Candidates Portal, after application has been verified   SPERS-Secondary Tests  Applicants will need to be familiar with the English Language and Mathematics topics taught in mainstream secondary schools Test details Reminders:  Arrive at least 45 minutes before the test. Instructions will be given 15 minutes before the test begins. Bring along your entry proof and identification document (e.g. NRIC or birth certificate)   Select preferred schools  Based on your child's performance in the tests, you will receive an email with the list of schools that they are eligible for. Submit your child's school choices through the SPERS-Sec Internet System (SPERS-Sec IS). Release of school offers There will be no release of test results. Please refer to this page on how you can check the release of school offers. Once you have received the outcome, you may report to the offered school.
