INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES AFFECTED BY A TRAIN SERVICE DISRUPTION

Candidates who are able to arrive at the examination centre before the end of the paper

  • You should still make your way to your designated examination centre. Candidates will be given the full duration to sit the paper as long as you arrive before the end of the paper.

Candidates who are unable to arrive at the examination centre before the end of the paper

  • You can go to an examination centre nearest to you to take your examination if you are unable to reach the examination centre before the end of the paper.
  • Please report to the Chief Presiding Examiner of the centre.
  • Please click on the links below for the list of examination centres near MRT stations.

  • During the national examination period, the list of secondary schools and junior colleges/centralised institutes near each MRT station are available at all train stations. You can also download LTA’s MyTransport.SG mobile application and access the “Find-My-Way” module for the list. MyTransport.SG can be downloaded from App Store® and Google Play™.
  • You can visit OneMap at www.onemap.sg for directions to the examination centres.
  • Please follow the instructions provided at the train station on the bridging transport services available. You may also approach the Passenger Service Centre for assistance.

Candidates who arrive at the examination centre after the paper has ended

  • School candidates who arrive at the examination centre after the paper has ended or are unable to reach an examination centre at all must inform their school immediately.
  • Private candidates who arrive at the examination centre after the paper has ended must report to the Chief Presiding Examiner of the centre, or call the MOE Customer Service Centre at 6872 2220 or email to [email protected] immediately to provide the following details:
  1. Name
  2. NRIC Number
  3. Exam Level
  4. Index Number
  5. Contact Number
  6. Subject/Paper affected
  7. Affected MRT Station
