Private candidates who sit for the mid-year examination, regardless of whether they sit for any subject in the year-end examination, will receive only one certificate reflecting all the subjects that they have taken in the year. If they sit for their Mother Tongue subject in both the mid-year and year-end examinations, the better result of the two sittings will be reflected in the certificate. |
Private candidates will be issued with both the Existing and New GCE A-Level curriculum certificates if they registered subjects from both curriculums. |
Private candidates will be notified by post to collect the A-Level certificates by May of the year following the examination year. |
The Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board does not issue duplicate copies of a certificate. However, candidates may apply for a Statement of Results at the MOE Customer Service Centre personally. The Statement of Results costs S$10.00 per copy. Candidates may also request for their Statement of Results to be sent by mail. A postage fee of S$2.00 (per address) or S$5.00 (per address) is chargeable for a local address or an overseas address respectively. |
Certificates not claimed within one year of the collection period will be destroyed and no replacement will be issued. |
If there are any errors in personal particulars in the results slip:
Private candidates should send in their notification for amendment to certificate via fax at 6776 4617 or email at contact@moe.edu.sg within 1 week from the date of issue of result slips.
School candidates should approach their respective schools on the required amendment within 1 week from the date of issue of result slips.
As the certificates are sent for printing the week following the issue of result slips, SEAB cannot make amendments based on late notification and can only reprint the certificates at a charge (see Certificate Amendment). |
